The first book to be published on the local series of punchmarked coins of Kosala, it provides a detailed classification and catalogue of these coins, and a detailed listing of symbols and bankers’ marks. The book lists 168 varieties of these coins and illustrate 137 of them. A selection of unclassified and forged coins of the series are also illustrated.
